Rankpur

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 August 2026

Rankpur ("the App", "we", "us") is a gamified exam-preparation and learning app covering General Knowledge, competitive exams (UPSC, State PSC, Banking/SSC, and more), school subjects, professional certifications, and language learning. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how we protect it.

1. What we collect

2. What we do NOT collect or do

3. How your data is stored

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (a managed PostgreSQL database provider) with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to authenticated systems only.

4. How long we keep your data

5. Third-party services we use

6. Your rights — including account deletion

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. You can delete your account and data yourself, right now, in two ways — no need to wait for us:

Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, learning progress, XP, streaks, badges, and mock-test history. If you have a paid-plan purchase on file, the transaction record itself is retained with your name/email/phone removed from it, as required for financial record-keeping — everything else tied to you is deleted. You can also email profitxeduai@gmail.com to request deletion manually.

7. Children's privacy

Rankpur is a general-audience exam-preparation and learning app, not an app designed primarily for children. Most of our content (competitive-exam prep, GK, professional certifications, language learning) targets teens and adults. A small number of categories (e.g. Chess & Logical Reasoning for Kids, other school-subject content) are written for younger learners, but they collect exactly the same data described in Section 1 above — nothing extra, and no additional data collection is triggered by opening kids-oriented content.

We ask every new account for a date of birth right after sign-up specifically to enforce this: if the date entered shows an age under 13, self-registration is blocked outright and the account is signed out — we do not activate an account for a self-registration showing an age under 13. If a parent or guardian instead sets up and manages the account themselves (using their own information) on a child's behalf, that account is not blocked by this check. Where a learner aged 13–17 uses the app directly, we recommend parental awareness of account creation and any purchases. We do not show behavioral/personalized advertising to any user of any age — the app's ad SDK (Section 5) is currently switched off app-wide, and if it is ever turned on we will apply Google's age-appropriate ad-content rating rather than showing unrestricted ad content. If you believe a child has provided us personal data despite this block, contact us (Section 9) and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date above.
