Privacy Policy

AlphaZai Gaming ("the App", "we", "us") is a gamified exam-preparation and learning app covering General Knowledge, competitive exams (UPSC, State PSC, Banking/SSC, and more), school subjects, professional certifications, and language learning. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how we protect it.

1. What we collect

• Account information: your email address, used only to create and secure your account and to send you a one-time login code (no password needed, no SMS ever used).
• Learning activity: which lessons you complete, quiz answers, XP, streaks, badges earned, mock-test attempts, and your self-reported learning level — used only to personalise your learning path and track your progress.
• Payment information: if you purchase a paid plan, payment is processed by one of our payment partners — Razorpay, UPI (direct), Stripe, or PayPal, depending on how you pay. We do NOT store your card, UPI PIN, bank, or PayPal account credentials — those are handled directly by the payment provider. We store only the transaction status, amount, provider used, and plan you purchased.
• Basic device/app data: standard technical information (app version, device type) needed to keep the app working and to diagnose crashes.

2. What we do NOT collect or do

• We do NOT use SMS for login or any other purpose — login is by email one-time code only.
• We do NOT sell your personal data to advertisers or third parties.
• We do NOT offer any cash-prize or real-money-gaming features — XP, streaks, levels, and badges are non-monetary learning-gamification only.
• We do NOT claim official affiliation with, or endorsement by, any exam body, government agency, or certification authority referenced in our content (UPSC, SSC, IBPS, College Board, USCIS, etc.) — all such content is descriptive exam-preparation material only.

3. How your data is stored

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (a managed PostgreSQL database provider) with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to authenticated systems only.

4. Third-party services we use

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• Resend — sending your login one-time-code emails.
• Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal — payment processing for paid plans, depending on which option you choose.
• UPI apps you choose — for direct UPI payments (we never see your UPI PIN).

5. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us (see below).

6. Children's privacy

Some of our content (e.g. school-subject and kids-learning categories) is designed for younger learners. Where a child under 18 uses the app, we recommend parental awareness/supervision of account creation and any purchases. We do not knowingly collect payment information directly from minors without a parent/guardian's involvement.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date above.
